RedesignING THE CLASSIC ramen experience for college students
Overview
We interviewed 100 college students about what they like the most about ramen. What we found: The three key factors that continually came up are affordability, convenience, and flavor. Utilizing current branding for Buldak Ramen, a popular Korean ramen line, we curated an innovated ramen snack line called Ramix, specially designed to be the perfect affordable, on-the-go, flavorful snack. Ramix is a dry mixed snack, with all of the deconstructed components that would be in a traditional ramen bowl. Included in the line are three dipping sauces (seen above) inspired by traditional asian seasonings and ramen broth flavors.
Brief
As a part of my final project for my Intro to Design Thinking Class, we were prompted to “Redesign a ramen experience for college students.” With no constraints, this is what we came up with.
