Problem Statement:

In an era where dining experiences are increasingly defined by digital interactions, Dorsia faced the challenge of connecting with its sophisticated audience through cohesive, engaging, and premium digital content. Despite its unique value proposition, the brand required a strong digital presence to resonate with discerning diners, reflect its exclusivity, and inspire trust and loyalty in an oversaturated market of dining and lifestyle apps.

Process:

I collaborated closely with our content writers to brainstorm engaging column ideas that aligned with our audience's interests. Using insights from these discussions and our established brand guidelines, I designed templates that served as the foundation for our visual storytelling.

Once the initial designs were complete, I presented them to my boss, the Senior Designer, for feedback. Together, we refined the concepts, or I made the necessary adjustments independently to ensure the designs met our standards and goals. The final step involved presenting the polished content to the greater creative team, where we ensured alignment across all departments before launch.

Result:

By cultivating a robust social media presence, Dorsia's Instagram following grew in size, brand awareness, and brand visibility and engagement. This active online community not only increases reservations but also fosters customer loyalty and trust. Moreover, a compelling social media strategy provides a competitive edge in the restaurant booking industry.

“Snacks” is a weekly column I designed, curated by the Dorsia content team. It's a weekly curation of cultural trends, dining highlights, and lifestyle recommendations, designed to keep Dorsia's audience inspired with exclusive and refined picks across food, fashion, and experiences.

“Snacks” has become a scaleable content type, replicated and used dozens of times.

Using our brand guide and design system, I worked closely with my senior designer to design this Venue Launch template together. See above my individual work creating the launch for Elephante Los Angeles. I used Fresco to draw the cover illustration, Photoshop to isolate the image subjects in the second and third slide, and Figma to bring all the elements together.

To incentivize and celebrate our venue partners, I designed the "Meet The Makers" template as a platform to spotlight the creative minds behind our restaurant partners. By focusing on refined typography, clear text hierarchy, and our Bento Box layout framework, I ensured the design was visually appealing and consistent with Dorsia's branding. The engaging layout leverages a continuous scroll effect to captivate the audience, creating a seamless, immersive experience that highlights the stories and inspirations of our partners while fostering deeper connections between them and our community.
